CASEpedia Kick-Off Party – Wednesday, February 23
Right after Andy Goodman’s keynote address, don’t miss this celebration as we officially open the regular conference! Playing off the CASEpedia theme, the event will be all about the fusion of our institutions, our work and the world.
With food, beverage and live music from Warless in a casual environment, the Kick-Off Party is a great way to reconnect with colleagues and meet those new to the District. Cost of this event is included in your regular conference registration.
CASE VIII Communication Awards Luncheon – Thursday, February 24
Always one of the most highly attended programs during the conference, the CASE VIII Communication Awards recognize the amazing talent of the communications professionals in our district. In an effort to accommodate all who want to attend, this year’s awards will be held in a luncheon format with the announcement of the Grand Gold awards in each category taking place at that time.
Don’t miss the opportunity to share your school pride and cheer on this year’s winners! Please note that the Virginia Carter Smith Grand Crystal Award will be announced the following day at the Celebration of Professional Achievement Luncheon.
Cost of the Communication Awards luncheon is included in the regular conference registration. Guests outside of the conference are welcome to attend for an additional $35 fee.
A Taste of Vancouver – Live from Grouse Mountain – Thursday, February 24
For those looking to explore a little of Vancouver outside of the conference, CASE District VIII has put together a great night at local winter destination Grouse Mountain. Relax after a full day of professional programming as we provide transportation to and from the hotel to this amazing venue. Activities, food and beverage will be included as you take advantage of this must-see Vancouver location.
Cost of this event is an additional $60 and requires pre-registration. Guests are invited to attend for $60 per person as well. Sign up fast – space is limited!
Celebration of Professional Achievement Luncheon – Friday, February 25
A time-honored celebration of the achievements of colleagues throughout our institutions, this luncheon will recognize individuals from across our district for their contributions to our advancement and education profession. Be a part of this festive event to help us honor those receiving the Leadership Award, Distinguished Service Award, and Rising Star Awards as well as the Virginia Carter Smith Grand Crystal Award for communication projects.
Cost of the Celebration Luncheon is included in the regular conference registration. Guests outside of the conference are welcome to attend for an additional $40 fee.
