Want to learn how to get the most out of this conference, or meet a few people who might also be new to CASE or Advancement or both? Join us for this short 45-60 minute session to ensure you maximize your conference experience: Who do I try to meet when I am here? How do I learn about other parts of Advancement but still take in sessions specific to my current position? These are common questions that CASE veteran Dan Peterson, along with a couple of members of the CASE District VIII Board of Directors, can answer for you. Come make yourself at home, and ask lots of questions!

Is Networking a Dirty Word?

Networking – it’s critical to making contacts, spreading your message and ultimately raising money…for many people, though, the thought of it evokes sweaty palms and butterflies. Using practical tips and anecdotal examples, and focusing on front line advancement officers, KCI Vice President Rose Terzariol, will identify the 7 secrets to successful networking and the proverbial landmines to avoid. By the end of this session, quiet introverts and energetic extroverts alike will feel at ease conversing with strangers, and understand how to use the power of networking to their advantage.

    When returning to the United States from Canada, it is very important to note that all U.S. citizens are required to present a valid U.S. passport to enter or re-enter the United States via air.

    For entry into the United States via land and sea borders, U.S. citizens must present either a U.S. passport, passport card, NEXUS card, Enhanced Drivers License or other Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI)-compliant document.
