This Week’s Featured Speaker:
Jennifer Dean
Vice President and Senior Consultant
Jennifer Dean joined RuffaloCODY in June 2005. With more than 17 years of fundraising experience, her extensive knowledge is an asset to the clients she serves in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
Jennifer has held leadership positions in a number of development environments. In these positions, she worked extensively in institutional advancement, including annual giving and integrating direct mail and phonathon campaigns.
Before joining RuffaloCODY, Jennifer was Vice President of Annual Giving and the President’s Associates at the Washington State University Foundation. There, she collaborated with 10 colleges to foster annual giving involvement and implemented and oversaw all annual giving efforts, including a $1.7 million phonathon program, direct mail campaign and various other giving programs.
Having also worked in development at the University of California – Davis as a student caller and the phonathon Program Manager and the University of Hawaii as Director of Annual Giving, Jennifer is familiar with the inner workings of higher education campuses. Her experience includes coordinating budgets to reach institutional goals and managing a staff of employees and volunteers in succession with quality annual giving programs. Today, she’s able to draw from her experience in these positions when developing annual giving strategies that work for varying clients.
In addition, Jennifer’s previous position as Manager, Staff Development at the Ohana Foundation gave her a well-rounded understanding of nonprofit organizations outside of the education field. A graduate of University of California – Davis, Ms. Dean also earned a teaching credential from the University of California – San Diego. She now resides in Idaho.
Jennifer will be presenting Ideas to Implementation: Moving your Annual Giving Program to the Next Level on Thursday, February 24th, 9:15am – 10:30am (TBD)
